For the Accredited Employer Work Visa, you must have:
·         Held the visa for a minimum of  24 months
·         Been working full time as an accredited employer
·         Been employed and have a base salary of at least NZ$ 55,000 annually
·         Be registered to practice in ew Zealand
If you have the Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa, to qualify for the Work to Residence Visa New Zealand you must have:
·         Held the visa for a minimum of 24 months
·         Been  employed full time in an occupation on the long Term Skill Shortage List
·         Be employed and have a minimum salary of NZ$45,000 annually.
·         Be registered to practice in your occupation in New Zealand

Also, note that you can also get a visa if you excel in a declared sport activity or art.
However note that the following are not allowed when you are applying for Work to

·         Unemployment. You must not be unemployed as at the time of application
·         You cannot apply together with your family for the Work to residence visa.  Nevertheless, they may apply based on a relationship with you. Therefore it is important that you include them in your application. Also, know that they may have to proof their proficiency in English while applying, unlike you.

  The process involved in the application for the Work to residence Visa is only 2,

·         The first stage is to express your interest. This involves filling some forms about yourself, your family and your job
·         Afterwards, you can then make a full application.
