the visa for a minimum of 24 months
·
Been
employed full time in an occupation on the long Term Skill Shortage List
·
Be
employed and have a minimum salary of NZ$45,000 annually.

Be
registered to practice in your occupation in New Zealand
Also, note
that you can also get a visa if you excel in a declared sport activity or art.
However note
that the following are not allowed when you are applying for Work to
·
Unemployment.
You must not be unemployed as at the time of application
·
You
cannot apply together with your family for the Work to residence visa.
Nevertheless, they may apply based on a relationship with you. Therefore
it is important that you include them in your application. Also, know that they
may have to proof their proficiency in English while applying, unlike you.
