Partner

A dependent partner of a resident New Zealander can stay, study and work in the country for an indefinite period, on being granted residence. This kind of visa has the criteria of including the dependent children aged within 24 years. The partner of an immigrant with work visa can stay and work in the country for the same length as permitted in the partner’s work visa. They can study for a period of not more than 3 months and are allowed to travel in and out of the country until the expiry of their visas.
